In a bid to bring governance to the grassroots through a robust community engagement platform, where all issues of National Development will be given special priority, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (South-West), Moremi Ojudu, has disclosed that the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administration is leaving no stone unturned as she is set to begin a South-West community engagement consultation tour.
Ms Ojudu is determined to identify issues, highlight them and proffer possible solutions from the presidency to assist local and state governments in transforming the lives of Nigerians in the South West.
In a recent video that went viral, Ms.Ojudu disclosed that Tinubu is highly interested in engaging our communities and bringing relief in the area of health care delivery, agriculture and livestock production, education and youth empowerment, roads and infrastructural development, urban development, trade and commerce promotion, women and artisan empowerment amongst a host of other programmes.

She further disclosed that her office was mandated by the President to serve as a direct involvement with issues related to the grassroots and monitoring and reporting on progress made on direct solutions from the presidency. The Community Engagement office is a bridging gap for people who do not have direct access to the President in solving their problems.
The Presidential Community Engagement office is ready to give our people a feel of the Renewed Hope Agenda. Mr. President is ready to do everything possible to bring succor to them.
The President is versatile and conversant with grassroots development, he is also aware that taking governance to the grassroots level makes it easier for accelerated development.
According to Ms.Ojudu, “the mandate before me is to engage with everyone within the South-West region, to listen to their plights, feel their pain and recommend solutions to the President for speedy action. I am working and liaising with government agencies, MDAs and other relevant private sector organizations to bring solutions to any issues highlighted. I am also working in collaboration with private individuals and international organizations to ensure that issues within Nigerian communities are well addressed.
