Terrorists abduct council chairman; kill two policemen, two local guards

Chairman of Bungudu Local Government of Zamfara State, Nura Abdullahi, has been abducted.
During the abduction which occurred on Saturday when Abdullahi’s residence was attacked by the heavily-armed terrorists, four of his security guards were shot dead.
They comprise two policemen and two local vigilantes.
A security source said the terrorists “invaded the town and went straight to the chairman’s house. After killing the policemen and local guards, they abducted the chairman, his wife, children and some members of his family.
“While shooting in the air, the terrorists took them into the forest”.
