Gabriel Suswam

Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State has appealed to members of the Kawu Baraje-led new PDP to sheath  their sword and work for the success of the party in 2015.

Suswam made the appeal on Wednesday in Makurdi, when members of the North Central Working Committee of the party called on him.

He urged the faction members to discard the new PDP and return to the mainstream of the party to ensure its victory in the 2015 polls.

Suswam urged the members to show “absolute loyalty” to the leadership of Alhaji Bamanga Tukur.

He also commended the loyalty of the governor and the PDP in the state to the national leadership of the party.

Aiyitogo also applauded the governor for his role in mediating between  members of ASUU and the federal government to make the lecturers go back to work.

The chairman, who described Suswam as the “pillar of the party in the zone”, said they were in the state to encourage him to do more.
