Superstar wrestler, Hulk Hogan, is dead

The wrestling world, on Thursday, lost one of its superstars.
Terry Bollea, known as Hulk Hogan, one of the most popular professional wrestlers of all-time who helped make WWE a global brand, was confirmed dead a few minutes after he collapsed in his Florida, United States (U.S.) home.

A ‘cardiac arrest’ call was placed and medics were sent to Hogan’s home in Clearwater, Florida. He was stretchered into an ambulance.
“WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away,” WWE wrote on X.

“One of pop culture’s most recognisable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends and fans.”
The wrestling legend retired in 2012.
He rose to fame with the then WWF in 1980s.
The WWE legend’s televised debut was in 1979.
