Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo has ordered the immediate dismissal of all political appointees across the state, just a day after beginning his second term in office.
The directive was announced in an official circular issued by the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) on Wednesday in Awka ,the state capital.
The document, signed by Dr Nwabufor Nwankwo Permanent Secretary in the SSG’s office, instructed all affected officials to transfer their responsibilities without delay.

The handover process is expected to be completed before the end of work on the same day, as the administration prepares to form a new executive cabinet.
The move signals the governor’s intention to restructure his administration following his re-election, paving the way for fresh appointments.
