*Abia North will queue behind Kalu to vote massively for Tinubu
The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL), the apex sociopolitical youth group in the South East geopolitical zone finds it necessary to set the record straight on recent criticisms aimed at Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District, regarding his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Senator Kalu remains one of the most loyal and dedicated party men in the South East geopolitical zone and has demonstrated unwavering commitment to the APC and the progressive agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Contrary to unfounded claims, his performance in office has been exemplary, earning him respect and massive followership in Abia North and across the South East.
It is important to emphasize that the people of Abia North, and indeed the entire South East region, recognize Senator Kalu’s tireless efforts in promoting the APC’s vision and the New Hope Agenda.
We appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the huge monthly federal allocations and Federal projects released to Abia State which are clear indications of the President’s commitment to the development of the region, a reality that no well-meaning Abia indigene can overlook.
Abians are not ungrateful people. They appreciate tangible development and results. It is on this basis that they continue to support Senator Kalu and President Tinubu. The overwhelming positive response to APC’s policies and projects in Abia State is evidence that the Renewed Hope Agenda is firmly taking root, and Abians will undoubtedly reciprocate by massively voting for the President in forthcoming elections.
In August 2020, Senator Victor Umeh handed Dr. Alex Otti to Senator Orji Kalu pleading to Senator Kalu to take care of Otti , consider him a younger brother and assist him in his gubernatorial aspirations.
In that gathering Otti said “In 2018 it was 10pm and Senator Orji Kalu showed up in my house in Lagos. I wasn’t even expecting him, Kalu said the reason for his visit is to ask me to join the APC. I will only support you if you’re going to contest the 2019 election under the umbrella of the APC because I want to put a stop to all the nonsense going on in the state, Otti said”.
The above statement by Dr. Alex Otti confirms to all and sundry that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu works day and night for the progress and success of his party the APC. Senator Kalu is not an eye service party man but a loyal committed party man.
We urge all stakeholders to refrain from divisive narratives that attempt to undermine Senator Kalu’s loyalty to his party and President Tinubu. Instead, we call on the people of Abia and the South East to stand united, support Mr President’s vision, and vote massively for Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
We also affirm our commitment to working with Senator Kalu to ensure that the New Hope Agenda continues to bring peace, prosperity, and development to Abia State and the entire South East.
