ONLY GOD COULD HAVE WRITTEN THIS STORY.
Thirty-five years ago, in 1991, by the grace of God, I was called to the Nigerian Bar.
While at the Nigerian Law School, I met an exceptional young man who shared the same passion for the law. By God’s perfect plan, he was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1992. That young man became my husband, my partner in life, and my greatest supporter.
When we began our journey together as husband and wife, we never imagined that God would bless us in such an extraordinary way. We had dreams for our future, but we could never have foreseen that the Lord would bless us with four wonderful children – two daughters and two sons – who would all follow the same path into the legal profession.
As they grew, they embraced the values of hard work, integrity, faith and service that we sought to instill in them. One after another, each answered the call to this noble profession.

Today, our hearts overflow with gratitude because every one of our children has been called to the Nigerian Bar and are now practising law.
Looking back over these 35 years, I can only marvel at the faithfulness of God. What began with one lawyer in 1991, and then two with my husband’s Call to the Bar in 1992, has become a family of six lawyers— both parents and all four children —serving in the legal profession.
This is not our achievement; it is the evidence of God’s grace, faithfulness and abundant mercy. We are humbled by this uncommon blessing and give Him all the glory.
As we celebrate our beloved son, Barrister Daniel Oduah, on his Call to the Nigerian Bar today, our hearts are filled with thanksgiving. God has done far more than we ever imagined when we first started our life together.
To every parent, keep praying, keep believing, and keep investing in your children. God’s plans are always greater than our own, and His faithfulness never fails.
“Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, to Him be glory…” (Ephesians 3:20–21).
To God alone be all the glory. Amen.
