Nigerian comedian Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, has emerged winner of the Best Stand-Up Comedian category at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA).
The comedian announced the achievement through her official Instagram account following the awards ceremony held on Saturday in Dallas, Texas, United States.
Sharing her excitement with fans, Asuoha wrote: “We won #afrimma Best Stand-up Comedian 2026.”
Nigerian Comedy Star Defeats Top Nominees
Real Warri Pikin secured the award ahead of several leading comedians from Africa, including fellow Nigerians Basketmouth, Bovi and Godfrey.
Other nominees in the category included Kenyan comedians Eric Omondi and Ty Ngachira, South African comedy star Trevor Noah, and Ugandan comedian Patrick “Salvado” Idringi.
Her victory places her among Africa’s most recognised comedy talents on the international entertainment stage.
