Re-election: Ooni, other monarchs pray for Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan, on Saturday, received royal blessing from Osun State traditional rulers in his quest to govern Nigeria till 2019.
Led by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuade, the monarch blessed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate and urged Nigerians to vote for him on March 28.
The Ooni said: “By the grace of God, you will win in the forthcoming election.”
As the Ooni was praying for Jonathan, the over 70 monarchs present also started praying for him, pointing their staffs of office at him.
In his thank-you speech, Jonathan vowed to do more if re-elected.
To him, the implementation of the report of the just-concluded National Constitutional Conference would enhance the development of the country politically, economically and socially.
