Police nab burglary suspect at Babachir’s office

The Police in Adamawa State, on Monday, confirmed the arrest of a burglary suspect at former Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Babacir Lawal’s office, in Yola.
Spokesman of the command, Mr Othman Abubakar, a Superintendent of Police, confirmed the arrest to newsmen in Yola.
Abubakar said that the suspect who attempted to burgle the office in Karewa Ward in Yola about 3 a.m. on Sunday was confronted by a security man at the office.
“He was hit by the private security man at the office where he sustained injuries.
“The suspect is currently on admission in hospital.”
Abubakar said that the police took the suspect to hospital, while investigation was ongoing.
