Former Super Eagles chief coach, Paul Hamilton, has stated that the coach Stephen Keshi’s tutored Eagles should try as much as possible to record a victory against Ethiopia in the first leg of the final World Cup 2014 qualifiers play-offs that would be played in Addis Ababa.
Hamilton who is also a former national team player noted that the Walya Antelopes are a much improved side, and can no longer be considered as minnows.
“The Ethiopians are not the team we used to know; they have got over their problems and are now a team to be reckoned with. We must play them hard and not underrate them.
“It is important to win the World Cup ticket in Addis Ababa so that our players will not be under pressure in the return leg fixture in Calabar.”
Hamilton advised the Stephen Keshi-led team to brace themselves for a torrid time in Ethiopia as their hosts have managed to turn Addis Ababa into fortress in recent years.
