Days after he succeeded Alhaji Bamanga Tukur as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), former Bauchi State governor, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, on Sunday, held a secret meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Venue was Obasanjo’s Hilltop Mansion in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Mu’azu arrived for the meeting at about 3:30 pm in a convoy of four vehicles.
Although Senator Andy Uba was sighted in Obasanjo’s residence, it was not clear if he came with Mu’azu.
After the two-hour meeting, Mu’azu refused to speak with reporters.
He just entered his vehicle and told the driver to leave but a source said the meeting was held “to try and find solution to the crisis plaguing the ruling party”.
