To ensure a smooth election on Saturday, leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Accord Party, Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) and Social Democratic Party (SDP), on Tuesday, signed a peace pact in Oyo State.
State Police Commissioner, Muhammad Katsina, midwifed the pact held at the Command’s headquarters at Eleyele, Ibadan, the state capital.
They declared that before, during and after the governorship and House of Assembly elections, there will be peace.
Katsina was represented by his deputy, Sanusi Buba, at the meeting.
All the gladiators thanked the command for the initiative. To them, it will go a long way to boost the image of the command.
Representing the parties were Dr. Nureni Adeniran, Mr. Samson Olalere and Mr. Abiodun Ogunjimi, among others.
