Oyo Govt demolishes building used as hideout in Adelabu’s sister’s abduction

Demolished house

The Oyo State Government, on Monday, demolished a three-bedroom bungalow used as a hideout by kidnappers involved in the abduction of Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, the younger sister of former Minister of Power, Chief Bayo Adelabu, and her twin sons, Peter and Paul.
The house is located in Lako Community, Aiyegun-Anaye road area of Ibadan.
The demolition was carried out by officials of the Oyo State Ministry of Public Works and Transportation, accompanied by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

Mrs. John-Paul and her 12-year-old twin sons were abducted at Elewura, Challenge area of Ibadan on June 3.
They were rescued on June 6.

The state government said the demolition underscores its commitment to combating insecurity and dismantling criminal networks operating within Oyo State.
