The Timi of Ede land, Oba Munirudeen Lawal, the Agbase Laminisa I, has installed an Oil Magnate and Business Mogul, Chief Abdulhakeem Adebiyi, as the Kure of Ede land in Osun.

The installation ceremony took place at the palace of the Timi of Ede on Wednesday, with a large number of dignitaries, traditional rulers and well wishers from across the country in attendance.

Speaking at the event, Oba Lawal explained that the choice of Adebiyi for the prestigious title was borne out of his remarkable track records and leadership in the society.

The traditional ruler said that Adebiyi has contributed a lot to the nation and has shown an unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people.

“He has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication to the public and that warranted the need for me to appoint him as the Kure of Ede land.

“Also, he is humble and committed to the aspiration and yearning of his people, and I consulted the Olofa of Offa before I chose him,” he said.
