Former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke Bello (SAN), has been appointed as the Chairman, Screening Committee for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirants for Osun State governorship election.
The party disclosed this in a statement by its National Organising Secretary, Umar Bature, in Abuja on Monday.
Bature said that the committee was constituted to screen aspirants on the platform of PDP for the July 16 Osun State governorship election.
He said that Rahman Owokoniran (South West Zonal Secretary) is the secretary of the committee.
Other members include Senator Aminu Wali, Mrs Nnenna Ukeje and Fidelis Tapgun.
The screening exercise is scheduled for Wednesday at the PDP national secretariat, Abuja, at 10 am.
He advised all aspirants, critical stakeholders and members of the party in Osun State to be guided by the statement.
