The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba (Dr.) Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi 111, has commiserated with the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), retired Geneneral Mohammed Buba Marwa, on the death of his first wife, Hajiya Zainab Marwa.

In a condolence message by his Director of Media and Publicity, Bode Durojaiye, Oba Adeyemi said, “I am truly sorry for the loss.of your first wife. Your first wife will be missed and she will never be forgotten, may her soul rest in peace.

“May God put her in a special place where she will be watching us, the people who loved and cherished her.
“Despite the loss of the physical presence of your first wife, we know that God has assigned her to watch over you throughout your life. In this sorrowful time, we would like to extend to you, on behalf of my family, our heartfelt condolences. May our Lord comfort you and your loved ones.

“I know that what you are going through right now is very difficult, just know that I am here for you. The loss of someone dear to us is never easy. With a heavy heart, I pray for the eternal repose of one who was a woman of distinguished humanity. In these moments of loss, words are useless.

“A beautiful soul, full of love and faith, ascended to heaven, away from us, but closer to God, leaving loneliness and sadness.

“Words cannot describe what you will be feeling. I give my condolences to the entire family. God rest her soul”.

Hajia Zainab Marwa, who was 66 years, died after a brief illness.
