Osoba

If former Ogun State governor, Chief Olusegun Osoba, has his way, Governor Ibikunle Amosun will not return to the Government House, Abeokuta on May 29.
This is because to Osoba, Amosun has failed people of the South-West state by not providing basic amenities since he succeeded former Governor Gbenga Daniel in 2011.
Osoba described as criminal, the neglect of rural areas by Amosun for more than three years.
He spoke at a rally held at Ake Palace Ground, Abeokuta, to flag-off the governorship campaign of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), urging voters to reject Amosun and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the February general elections “because they have paralysed governance at the grassroots level”.
At the event, the SDP candidate, Senator Akin Odunsi, and his running mate who is Amosun’s deputy, Prince Segun Adesegun, were presented to the mammoth crowd.
With Osoba at the rally were Sir Olaniwun Ajayi, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, some Yoruba leaders, eight serving members of the National Assembly and other party chieftains.
Odunsi and Adesegun were later presented to the mammoth crowd.
