In a demonstration of its commitment to youth empowerment and creative development, Oshodi Art Gallery, one of Nigeria’s leading art and cultural institutions, has announced its official partnership with the GLOWFUX Charity Concert, committing an additional ₦100,000 towards the ongoing GLOWFUX @ 10 Theme Song Challenge.

The strategic partnership immediately doubles the competition’s grand prize from ₦100,000 to ₦200,000, making the challenge one of the most rewarding youth-focused creative contests currently running in anticipation of a major social impact event in Nigeria.

The collaboration represents another important milestone in preparations for the 10th Anniversary of the GLOWFUX Charity Concert, as more organisations continue to identify with the initiative’s mission of promoting compassion, creativity, youth development and community transformation.

Speaking on behalf of the gallery, the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Seyi Paul Oshodi, explained that supporting the competition aligns perfectly with Oshodi Art Gallery’s long-standing philosophy of discovering, nurturing and celebrating creative talents.

“We are totally committed to whatever promotes the artistic talents of our youth. That is why we are doing this with the organisers.

“This is only the beginning. We are still coming through with additional support to ensure that the GLOWFUX Charity Concert @ 10 becomes a truly memorable anniversary celebration. We believe in humanity. We believe in giving selflessly. We believe in lifting the spirit of children. These are the values that GLOWFUX represents,” he said.

The organisers described the partnership as another vote of confidence in the vision and impact the GLOWFUX movement has sustained over the last decade, noting that the additional sponsorship significantly raises the stakes for participants while further strengthening public interest in the challenge.

With the latest sponsorship, the eventual winner of the competition is now guaranteed ₦200,000, subject to any additional support that may still come in before the challenge closes.

The organisers expressed optimism that the increased prize money will encourage greater participation from musicians, choirs, spoken-word artistes, content creators and other emerging creatives eager to contribute to the official soundtrack of the historic anniversary celebration.

The GLOWFUX @ 10 Theme Song Challenge, which began on June 28, 2026, will run until July 28, 2026, after which entries will be evaluated and the winning composition announced.

Beyond the cash reward, the winning entry stands the chance of becoming part of the official musical identity of the GLOWFUX @ 10 Anniversary Celebration, scheduled for December 28, 2026, allowing the successful creative to become part of the event’s enduring legacy.

Owned by the Bundle of Hope Child Care and Empowerment Foundation, the GLOWFUX Charity Concert was established in 2016 to provide vulnerable children living in orphanages, rehabilitation centres and other organised needy homes with memorable end-of-year experiences filled with joy, hope and dignity.

Over the past nine editions, the project has attracted the support of numerous individuals and socially responsible organisations, including the Habeeb Okunola Foundation, Courteville Business Solutions Plc, Rep. Babajimi Benson’s iCare Foundation, 7UP Bottling Company, Peak Milk, Unilever Nigeria, among several others.

The landmark GLOWFUX @ 10 Anniversary Celebration is being produced by Fanafillit Integrated Concepts, with more partnership announcements and exciting pre-anniversary activities expected in the coming months.
