Nigerian international, Juwon Oshaniwa, has expressed delight with his move to Scottish Premier League outfit, Hearts FC.
The 24-year-old had a successful medical on Friday before signing a three-year contract and had his first training session with his teammates on Saturday.
The former Sharks defender promised to give his best to make his long-awaited move worth it and also give the fans something to cheer about.
“I’m happy to have finally completed my move here. Though, there were little delays but I’m happy it worked out. To God be the glory,” Oshaniwa disclosed.
“The move is special for me because it is a step forward in my career. As you know, this is football and it is all about movement and that’s what has happened for me by God’s grace. It is a great feeling here. I’m excited with the calibre of coaches here and the great fans of Hearts. Everyone here was welcoming and the atmosphere is awesome.
“The team has great goals. I’m looking forward to contributing my own quota for Hearts. I want to give my best to reward the club for signing me,” he concluded.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner has made 17 appearances for Nigeria since 2012 and played in all four games of the Super Eagles at the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.
