Oliseh to sign Eagles contract Wed

Former national team captain, Sunday Oliseh, is set to officially sign a deal to become the Super Eagles head coach on Wednesday.
Sources in the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have confirmed that the contract of Oliseh is ready to be signed but that the two camps are appraising the agreement reached and should firm up the deal this week in an official ceremony in Abuja.
The sources reveal that Oliseh is set to sign a five-year contract with the NFF.
NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, refused to comment on the plans to officially land Oliseh as Nigeria’s head coach this Wednesday. “I think the best man to speak on the matter is the chairman of the (NFF) technical committee,” he said on Monday.
But Anyansi-Agwu is currently out of the country and is only expected back this week before the contract signing and presentation of Oliseh in Abuja.
Last week, Anyansi-Agwu confirmed talks had been opened with Oliseh and “an offer has been made.”
“An offer has been made, and there is understanding, but we have to work out the final details of the agreement in a few days. Of course, the Executive Board has to give approval for his appointment based on the final terms to be agreed,” Anyansi-Agwu said.
