The group which comprises of veteran politicians, academics, technocrats and professionals specifically gave the President a pat on the back noting that “…with the kind of good security architecture which President Tinubu is building, …adding to the regional balancing processes in place, Nigeria would soon become a referral world for global development.”

OJF, however, sent a strong signal to all actors in the All Progressive Congress (APC), Oyo State, to cooperate and stabilize the party with the required zeal and creativity such that it would be positioned for justice, equity, and development.

In his welcome address, the CWC
Chairman, Dr Ade Olumide, emphasised the forum’s commitment to spreading its influence beyond Oyo State, saying “The Oyo Justice Forum is a prominent socio-political organization, which strength lies in its diverse membership as it comprises of former government functionaries and various units of political formations across Oke-Ogun as a region.”

The former Oyo lawmaker emphasised that “…good governance ensures democratic success,” urging Nigerians to remain faithful in the present administration of President Bola Tinubu.

Members echoed the need for quality representation, rejecting injustice, and repression to ensure that Oke-Ogun and Oyo State support APC as their free choice. With its diverse membership political functionalities and clear vision, the Oke-Ogun Justice Forum is poised to make significant effort in the political perspective of Oyo State.

Speaking to journalists as a recap of the meeting’s deliberation, Amb. Debo Adesina hinted that inclusive and effective mobilisation could not be compromised as the forum keeps engaging with leaders and critical stakeholders.

“The group’s commitment to justice, equity, and development sets the stage for a new era in our politics”, he said.

The former Editor-in-Chief of The Guardian Group declared that “Nigeria cannot afford to retrogress again. So, having President Tinubu beyond 2027 is compelling.”

Analysing the import of the meeting, Hon. Oyedokun Oyedele who also spoke to newsmen said, “With its strong leadership and clear vision, OJF is well-positioned to achieve its goals.”
