Super Eagles were super on Saturday night in Morocco as they defeated Tunisia 3-2 to advance to the Round of 16 in AFCON 2025.

Victor Osimhen scored in the 44th minute, powering home a pinpoint cross from Ademola Lookman.

Captain Wilfred Ndidi doubled the lead five minutes into second half, rising to meet another superb delivery from Lookman.
Lookman then turned scorer in the 70th minute, finishing off a swift counter-attack initiated by Osimhen to seemingly put the game out of reach at 3-0.

However, Montassar Talbi pulled one back for Tunisia with a header in the 74th minute, before a handball by defender Bright Osayi-Samuel led to a penalty, calmly converted by Aïssa Laïdouni in the 87th minute.
