Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta has congratulated his Edo counterpart, Gov. Monday Okpebholo as he clocked 55.

Oborevwori’s felicitation is contained in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon on Friday in Asaba.

He described Okpebholo as a visionary leader committed to the development of his people.

He lauded Okpebholo’s dedication to the SHINE Agenda, which focused on Security, Health, Infrastructure, Nutrition, and Education, noting that it demonstrated his people-oriented leadership style.

He said turning 55 is a milestone worth celebrating, particularly for a man who has dedicated much of his life to public service and upliftment of his people.

He praised Okpebholo for initiating reforms and projects that sought to improve the welfare of Edo people, adding that the SHINE Agenda aligned with modern governance ideals that prioritised human capital and infrastructural development.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta, I warmly congratulate my brother governor, Okpebholo, on the joyous occasion of his 55th birth anniversary.

“Your SHINE Agenda is an inspiring roadmap that underscores your commitment to the holistic progress of Edo through enhanced security, better healthcare, improved infrastructure, adequate nutrition, and quality education,” Oborevwori said.

Oborevwori wished Okpebholo many more years of good health, wisdom, and strength to continue to deliver purposeful leadership to the people of Edo and to contribute to national development
