Rally: Obaseki demands arrest of Oshiomhole

Oshiomhole and Obaseki

Governor Godwin Obaseki appears to have scored another goal over his alleged political godfather, with the acceptance of his nominee- Mr. Clem Ike Agba as a minister representing Edo State.

Clem Agba, who is married to Godwin Obaseki’s first cousin, was on Tuesday confirmed to be on the final list submitted by the President to the National Assembly for Confirmation.

An astute environmentalist and oil and gas professional, Clem Agba was one of the earliest supporters of the administration of Obaseki, having worked with him during his time as the Chairman of former Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s Economic Team.
Agba also served as Commissioner for Environment, seconded from Chevron Nigeria.
In a statement, the Association of Edo Professionals congratulated Obaseki on his choice emerging as minister and thanked President Muhammadu Buhari “for the faith he has reposed in the governor of our dear state”.
