The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has officially unveiled the calendar for the 2026/27 season, with the timeline for the President Federation Cup also included.

The schedule provides clubs, players, match officials, broadcasters and other stakeholders with a clear roadmap for the campaign, allowing for better planning and preparation ahead of the new season.

Looking even further ahead, the league has also released the tentative calendar for the 2027/28 NPFL season. The campaign is expected to begin between 27–29 August 2027 and conclude on 28 May 2028, reinforcing the league’s commitment to maintaining a structured and predictable football calendar.

The early announcement is expected to help clubs manage player recruitment, pre-season programmes, travel logistics and other key operational activities well in advance.

More details on fixtures and key competition dates are expected to be released in due course.
