Leicester City’s momentous season has become a worldwide talking point, with everybody from Buddhist monks to modern-day NFL legends getting swept up in the fairytale.
The latest unlikely name to chip in is none other than two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, who appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live to psych up the Foxes ahead of the Premier League title run-in with a trademark rousing promo.
“I heard it’s 5,000-1 if you win [the title],” Flair hollered. “You’ve come this far, you’ve walked that aisle.
“You’ve beaten the best. Just bring it. Don’t look back, just look forward.”
The “Nature Boy” then turned his focus to Leicester’s next opponents by giving them a ribbing for good measure.
“Manchester United, you’re up next. You’ve got no game guys,” Flair taunted. “Leicester City, all the way. Woo!”
