The Naira, at the Wholesale Dutch Auction System (WDAS), on Wednesday appreciated slightly against the U.S. dollar.
The Naira traded at N155.75 to the dollar, a slight increase of N1 when compared with the N155.76 it traded for on Sept. 23.
The CBN, in a summary of the auction posted on its Website, said that 400 million dollars was the total amount offered for sale.
The number of banks that participated dropped to 14 from the 17 that took part in the auction on Sept. 23.
The next auction will hold on Monday, Sept. 30.
