The 14-time Grand Slam champion dropped out of the Top 5 after losing to Andy Murray in Sunday’s final at the Madrid Masters.
The world No. 7 Nadal, who lost for the fourth time on clay this year, is hoping to win his 10th French Open title when that major commences later this month.
