Super Eagles’ midfield sensation, Mikel Obi, says he will be available for World Cup matches against Kenya and Namibia.
Nigeria will play Kenya on June 5 in Nairobi in a World Cup qualifier.
The player also said he would also play for the country in the FIFA Confederation’s Cup match.
Obi, who spoke to Team Secretary, Enebi Achor, said he would be at the Embassy of Brazil in London on May 27 for his visa.
The disclosure has put paid to speculations that the player has opted out of donning the country’s colours for the top games.
It will also serve to calm frayed nerves of fans that had been apprehensive he may not take part in upcoming crucial matches.
