These are trying times for the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh.
Eleven days after he was detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), a Federal High Court in Abuja, on Friday, ordered that he should remain in Kuje Prison custody until January 19 when the plea for his application will be heard.
Metuh was arraigned on Friday on a seven-count charge by the EFCC before Justice Abang Okon.
Justice Okon told the anti-graft agency that Metuh should be allowed access to his family members and lawyers.
