“Sequel to the recent kidnapping activities that led to the abduction of Alhaji Ahmadu in Malabu, on January 30, and in compliance with the directives of the Commissioner of Police, CP Morris Dankombo to intensify operations against criminal elements.

“A joint coordinated operation comprising police operatives and members of the Miyetti-Allah, was carried out at a suspected kidnappers’ hideout located at Jera village in Malabu District, Fufore LGA,” he stated.

“More worrisome, one of the suspects happened to be the biological son of the victim, all the three suspects confessed to their involvement in the crime.

“While efforts are ongoing to rescue the victim unhurt and apprehend other members of the criminal syndicate, the suspects are in custody while investigations continue,” he said.
