September 27 has been set aside for the commemoration and celebration of the new legal year by the Lagos State Judiciary.
This was disclosed in a statement from the office of the Assistant Director, Public Affairs, Lagos State Judiciary, Mrs Ololade Ige.
Ige stated that “the new legal year ceremony will begin with a prayer at the Central Mosque, Nnamdi Azikiwe Street, Lagos alongside a service at the Cathedral Church, Marina, Lagos at 10a.m.
Besides, there would be a parade of guards after the services at the Tafawa Balewa Square, TBS, Lagos, in a programme that usually holds at the premises of the burnt High Court of Lagos State.
