RE: ABDULRAZAQ AWAITS COMMISSIONER NOMINEES FROM LAI MOHAMMED: LIES FROM PIT OF HELL.
The macabre dance of Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in his handling of both party and governmental affairs in the state of harmony does not seem to surprise many. His unrepentant penchant to talk from both sides of the mouth is legendary.
Lies, lies and more lies pervade every action and media statement from the governor.
Ordinarily, one would have chosen to ignore the story with the above caption as another media sensationalism, but for a man who has earned the acronym sakamanje, L’ori iro( built on lies) such stories should not be taken lightly.
Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq had the opportunity to build on his enormous goodwill after being sworn in as governor by forming an all inclusive cabinet, but he choose the path of walking alone. He appointed his cabinet without any input from any body, save maybe from some members of his family. He played the maximum ruler and also sought the destabilisation of the party.
When he therefore decided to disband the cabinet in January, 2021 barely 12 months after inauguration , he alone knew why?
He has since sent a list of 7 nominees to the state House of assembly and they have been confirmed.
Since the disbandment of the cabinet in January, he has gone on to make many more appointments:- special advisers and senior special assistants, including transition committees for all the 16 local governments, albeit illegally and stubbornly too.
Is it, therefore, not the height of crass mischief to allude the delay in the full composition of the cabinet to consultation with Hon. Minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed so that he and other stakeholders can make inputs and nominate their preferred choices for the governor to appoint as Commissioners?
Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is a man that loves to play the ostrich, he hides his head in the ground and pretends that all is well.
Spurious lies have become elevated as official dictum of governance.
His sponsor of newspaper reports to insinuate any consultation with Alhaji Lai Mohammed are mischievous, wicked and diversionary. Indeed anytime the governor pushes any story in the media space that seeks to dignify him you can be sure that he is set to unleash more sinister mischief in the days ahead. He is an expert in smokescreen governance.
Alhaji Lai Mohammed is traversing the length and breath of Nigeria fulfilling his responsibility as assigned by Mr. President and cares less about the governor of kwara state and how he runs his one man show.
If Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is shortsighted and gullible, he should know that not all of us are the same with him.
