Kogi State Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Mr Stephen Maiyaki, has been kidnapped.
Maiyaki was kidnapped by people numbering up to six about 8.30 a.m. on Sunday in his farm at Osara in Adavi Local Government Area.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr Shola Adebayo, confirmed the story, but said details will be provided later.
Maiyakim was appointed commissioner in May, 2012.
Justice Christopher Olorunyomi of the State High Court was similarly kidnapped in the same area on May 27 and his whereabouts are still unknown.
His abductors are demanding N150 million before he could be released.
