kano_pillarsThe management of Globacom Premier League defending champion, Kano Pillars Football club, have declared that they will appeal against the verdict of the Nigeria Football Federation’s Organising and Disciplinary Committee to award six-time champions, Enyimba their abandoned Week 31 premier League match.

On Thursday, the Organising and Disciplinary committee (O and D) of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) gave Enyimba three points and three goals after their away match at Kano Pillars was abandoned after crowd invasion.

NFF O and D also in their verdict banished the Sai Masugida to Lokoja for their remaining premier League games this term and they will also pay a fine of N2 million.

Kano Pillars’ supremo, Abba Yola said that the champions are not happy with NFF’s judgment and they will appeal the decision.

“We have received the NFF O and D verdict on our abandoned game with Enyimba and we are so sad with what we saw.

“It is obvious we are going to appeal the verdict because it was very harsh on us, and we believe the appeal committee will give us justice,” Yola said Sunday

Kano Pillars may this term, not get a continental ticket should the NFF appeal committee turns down their request.

The Sai Masugida now occupy fourth position on the League standings with 54 points with four games to go this season.
