Air Peace has announced a temporary reduction in its Abuja–London flight operations due to ongoing aviation fuel supply challenges.
In a statement shared via its official social media channels, the airline confirmed that flights between Abuja and London will now operate three times weekly.
The airline attributed the decision to limited availability of Jet A1 fuel, which continues to affect airline operations both in Nigeria and globally.
Air Peace explained that the adjustment is necessary to ensure safety and maintain operational efficiency during the disruption.
According to the airline, the reduced schedule will remain in place until July 1, 2026, when full flight frequency is expected to resume.
Before this change, the Abuja–London route operated daily, making the reduction significant for passengers traveling on the route.
Air Peace acknowledged that the schedule change may inconvenience travelers and apologized for any disruption to travel plans.
The airline thanked customers for their understanding and assured them of continued efforts to deliver safe and reliable service.
The company stated that it is actively engaging with relevant stakeholders to address the fuel supply challenges.
It reaffirmed its commitment to restoring normal operations as soon as conditions improve.
