Investors on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday staked N3.51 billion on 333.43 million shares in 3,292 deals.
The volume of transactions represented 57.36 per cent decrease over the 211.89 million shares worth N2.73 billion traded in 3,051 deals on Thursday.
LASACO emerged the most traded stock with 63.11 million shares worth N31.56 million, transacted by investors in five deals.
Sovernins came second on the activity with 40.00 million shares worth N20 million in four deals, while GTBank accounted for 21.59 million shares valued N529.40 million in 264 deals.
The NSE All-Share Index depreciated by 77.71 points or 0.26 per cent to close at 30,332.68 as against the 30,410.39 achieved on Thursday.
Similarly, the market capitalisation dropped by N27 billion or 0.26 per cent to close at N10.424 trillion from the N10.451 trillion posted on Thursday.
Dangote Cement recorded the highest price loss of N2.99 to close at N167.01 per share.
It was trailed by UACN, which lost N1.18 to close at N31.82, while PZ Cussons depreciated by 65k to close at N26 per share.
Unilever dipped 58k to close at N45.22, while Stanbic IBTC dropped by 34k to close at N21.66 per share.
Conversely, Seplat led the gainers’ chart by N7 to close at N240 per share.
Forte oil trailed with a gain of N2.30 to close at N228.80, while Nigerian Breweries grew by N1.48 to close at N136 per share.
Flour Mill appreciated by 61k to close at N23.62 and Ashaka Cement lost 49k to close at N22.50 per share.
