The management of Heartland Football Club of Owerri have lifted the suspension placed on coach Ramson Madu and Head of Protocol, Tonnex Chukwu.
The duo were suspended after the club’s Week 20 home loss to Enyimba in early July, but a statement from the club on Tuesday disclosed that the officials have been cleared of any culpability by the report of a panel of inquiry which was set up to looking into issues that led to the surprise loss.
According to the statement, the decision to recall the officials is based on the need for all hands to be on deck as the Naze Millionaires aim to improve the placement on the Glo Premier League table.
The officials who are expected to report back to duty immediately were also urged to desist from acts that could bring discord and rancor to the club.
The statement further disclosed that the other members of the technical crew who were suspended after Heartland’s Week 24 home loss to Kwara United will remain on suspension till further notice.
