Grammy-Winning R&B Legend Peabo Bryson Dies at 75

Grammy Award-winning R&B singer and songwriter Peabo Bryson has passed away at the age of 75.

His family announced his death in a statement, paying tribute to the celebrated artist’s remarkable contribution to music and his lasting influence on popular culture.

“For more than five decades, Peabo’s extraordinary voice served as the soundtrack to some of life’s most cherished moments,” the family said.

“His music accompanied generations through joyful celebrations, timeless love stories, and moments of comfort and inspiration. He created a legacy that will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him and the countless lives he touched through song.”

The family also expressed appreciation for the overwhelming support and condolences received following his passing.

“While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing how deeply Peabo was loved and how many lives were touched by his voice and generous spirit.

“His legacy and music will continue to inspire generations to come,” the statement added.

Our correspondence reports that Bryson was widely recognised for his unforgettable contributions to Disney classics, including *A Whole New World* and *Beauty and the Beast*, which became some of the most beloved songs in animation history.

Throughout a musical career spanning more than five decades, Bryson released numerous hit songs and earned acclaim for his powerful vocal performances. His achievements were recognised with two Grammy Awards, cementing his status as one of R&B’s most respected voices.

Bryson leaves behind a rich musical legacy that shaped generations of listeners and helped define some of Disney’s most memorable soundtracks. His timeless music and enduring influence will continue to resonate with fans around the world.
