According to him, the new software would have an off-line navigation for Google map, as well as an off-line playback for Youtube, which enables users take and watch favourite videos regularly.

“We are using Nigeria as a spring board for Africa and that is why this fantastic device is being inaugurated in Lagos,” he said.

Some of the features, he said, included eight mega pixel rear, two mega pixel front cameras; one gigabyte and two gigabytes ram and 16 gigabytes storage.
He said that the starting price of the phone was N17,500 and it could be gotten in black, white, red, blue and gold colours.
The phone, according to him, is two times better in performance and has up to 90 minutes extra battery life with a battery saver feature.
He added that the phone can control data usage with just two quick swipes and also had a beautiful material design.
Jiand said that in staying ahead with speed, Infinix Mobility, in partnership with MTN, would be giving out one gigabyte high speed data at N500 for one year.
In his own contribution, Mr Michael Ikpoki, MTN’s Chief Executive Officer, said that they were in this partnership so that they would enable people to generate contents relevant for the market.
“One gigabyte data for 12 months is our contribution to the development,” he added.
