Globacom launches Phonelord, pays rent to Subscribers

glo_phonelord_launchLeading telecommunications outfit, Globacom, has launched another innovative product tagged “Phonelord” that rewards its esteemed subscribers by paying them rentals for housing Glo sims in their phones.

Launching the product in Lagos on Wednesday, Globacom’s Coordinator Marketing, Mr. Adeniyi Olukoya explained that Glo was giving back to loyal subscribers as part of its tenth anniversary celebrations and in continuation of its time proven tradition of being the game changer in the telecommunication industry.

“With this product Globacom is the tenant that will pay rentals to subscribers who consume at least fifty naira worth of talk time the previous day and is part of our treatment of subscribers as kings” he added.

He announced that the product was open to all existing and new prepaid customers on the Glo network while other telephone subscribers in the country interested in the package would need to buy a Glo SIM card to enjoy the benefits.

“Under the package a subscriber who spends fifty naira talk time or more today will get fifty naira talk time for on net usage tomorrow. The bonus talk time which will be delivered by midnight today must be consumed before 9a.m the next day. Cumulatively, a loyal subscriber could get up to N1,500 as rental bonus from Glo”, Mr. Adeniyi explained.

He advised subscribers who are yet to join the happy Glo customers to do so without further delay to enjoy Globacom’s inimitable numerous pocket friendly products and offerings .

He said the $1.25 billion comprehensive network upgrade contract it awarded recently was part of Globacom’s preparation to accommodate new subscribers

“We signed $1.25billion network upgrade with ZTE and Huawei. This is just the ones the public is aware of. Other programmes aimed at improving the network are ongoing. Very soon the programmes would be unveiled.”

It would be recalled that Globacom has since inception initiated products and offers like Per Second Billings which make life stress free and telecommunication facilities more affordable for Nigerians.
