From solar-powered computer labs to WASSCE support for 40 students and the recovery of school land, AGGSOGA’s outgoing administration under President Olusolape Ajibola has set a new standard. The association is now looking ahead with her continued leadership at the helm.
To travel the next four years of continued accomplishments road with her are the following co-elected officers.
Abimbola Oshikoya – Vice President, Bolaji Ololade – General Secretary, Grace Majoyegbe – Assistant General Secretary, Joy Oji – Treasurer, Olukemi Kalejaye – Welfare Officer, Laide Omosebi- Social Secretary, Ajoke Aregbesola- Assistant Social Secretary, Dupe Olaoye-Osinkolu – Publicity Secretary, and Aderayo Fatoki – Internal Auditor.
Beyond physical projects, the outgoing administration secured AGGSOGA’s legal future by registering the association with the Corporate Affairs Commission, Nigeria, while also recovering one hectare of encroached school land.
In a defining heritage move, AGGS was also restored to the Anglican Communion, reconnecting the 70-year-old school to its founding roots. “This was not just about buildings,” President Ajibola said. “It was about protecting the institution legally and returning the soul of the school while equipping the next generation to thrive.
President Ajibola also drove the digital upgrade of AGGSOGA’s electoral process from analog to virtual, accommodating members across the globe. The move expanded participation, improved transparency, and ensured accountability. The association’s first virtual election was conducted peacefully and recorded as a huge success.
