Former MAMSER Boss, Professor Jerry Gana, once said, “Whatever you do, do it well.”
This can be said of young Evangelist Olatunde Ogunleye of the Christ Apostolic Church, Way-to-Life, Ottawa,Canada.
Oh, did I just say, ‘of CAC, Way-to-Life, Ottawa? No, not any more. Wait! Let me quickly say he is very much alive, and he will be on planet earth for a long time to continue serving God, who he serves so well.
Today, we bid a bittersweet farewell to our beloved Evangelist Olatunde Ogunleye, as he embarks on a new journey to British Columbia.
Though we rejoice at the new opportunities and experiences that await him, our hearts ache with sadness at the thought of his departure from our midst.
Since he joined the church in 2019, Evangelist Olatunde has been an integral part of our community, and his selfless dedication to spreading the Gospel has left an indelible mark on the church and the elders.
Senior Pastor Adebowale Adeoye dropped the bombshell today as he informed the congregation about the relocation during the Sunday service.
Ogunleye, popularly known as Ola-Glorious, is multi-talented. His passion, zeal, and unwavering commitment to serving the Lord have inspired countless individuals, and his presence will be deeply missed.
We remember his tireless efforts to reach out to the lost, the hurting, and the broken. We recall his words of encouragement, his prayers, and his unwavering support. We celebrate the lives that have been transformed through his ministry, and we give thanks for the privilege of having shared in his journey.
The visibly emotional Pastor Adeoye recalled that Ogunleye always made himself available to serve in any area of the church, even without being asked to carry out an assignment, he always knew what to do at every point.
As you begin this new chapter, Evangelist Olatunde, we pray that God will continue to guide, empower and bless you. May your ministry flourish in British Columbia, and may you continue to be a beacon of hope and light to all those around you.
Though distance may separate us, your legacy will remain in our hearts, and your impact will continue to be felt. We will miss you dearly, but we rejoice at the prospect of the great things God has in store for you.
Farewell, dear Evangelist Olatunde. May God be with you always.
