The head Pastor of Divine Favour Prayer Assembly Ministries, Mowe, Ogun State, Dr. Tayo Popoola, has advised government to take urgent steps to avert an imminent food crisis in the nation.

In a sermon he delivered at the headquarters of the church last weekend on the occasion of children anniversary of the church titled: ” The provision hands of God “( Num 11:23), the cleric warned that having received the message twice from the Lord within six months, government must rise to the occasion by taking immediate measures to avert the impending food disaster.

His words: ” You all would recall that at the cross over service to the new year on December 31st 2021, the Lord gave this message as part of what would happen in the new year.

“Again, as activities marking this anniversary of our children heightened, the Lord repeated the message saying if care is not taken, basic food items would rise beyond the reach of the poor”.

Dr.Popoola therefore urged the citizenry to pray by committing the heart of our leaders unto God’s hands in order for them to take the right steps that would avert food insecurity.

He further urged the nation to timely call upon God who miraculously fed the Israelites at a time of food insecurity.

Children from all branches of the church attended the programme which took place at the headquarters.
