France, on Tuesday, defeated Sweden 3-0 to advance into the Round of 16 in the 2026 World Cup tournament.
The match was played in New Jersey Stadium, East Rutherford, the United States (U.S.).
Kylian Mbappe opened scoring in the 45th minute.
Bradley Barcola scored the second goal for France in the 53rd minute and Mbappe scored the third goal in the 74th minute.
France will meet with Paraguay on Saturday for the R16 match.
