FCT Principals Cup enters state elimination series

The on-going FCT Principals cup competition has entered its state elimination series.
According to the Chairman of the Main Organising Committee, Patrick Ngwaogu, all the 10 finalists will take part in the stage.
All the matches would be played at the Area 3 playing pitch, Garki Abuja.
Continuing, Ngwaogu who is the Vice Chairman of the FCT FA said: “In the preliminary stage of the competition, we had 38 matches played, with 151 goals scored. In Gwagwalada Zone, the students scored 44 goals, while Karshi zone recorded 33 goals. In Kuje zone, 32 goals were scored, while in Tudunwada and Kwali zones, the students scored 22 and 20 goals respectively”.

“On Monday 26th October, Government Secondary School Lugbe will settle scores with Government Secondary School Dangara by 2pm. while at 4pm, Government Secondary School Tudunwada Wuse Zone 4 will play Government Secondary School Shere”.

“On Tuesday, Government Secondary School Yangoji will lock horns with Government Day Secondary School Gwagwalada, while Government Secondary School Tunga Maji takes on Model Secondary School Maitama. The last quarter final matches would be on Wednesday when Government Secondary School Zuba will battle the winner of the match between Government Secondary School Lugbe and Government Secondary School Dangara, while FOSLA Academy will confront the winner between Government Secondary School Tudunwanda and Government Secondary School, Shere.”

Ngwaogu further announced that the semi-final matches would be played on Friday 30th October, while the finals come up on Tuesday 3rd November, 2015 at the Area 10 Old Parade Ground pitch. He said that various prizes and trophies would be given out to eventual winners, and all the zonal champions.
