FC Porto, have indicated their readiness to sign Nigerian teenager Peter Olayinka from his Albanian club.
The 17-year-old Bylis Ballsh striker took Albania by storm when his goal sent out league champions, Skenderbeu Korce in the semi-final of Albania Cup.
His representative Hasan Egilmez said: “Peter (Olayinka) is next big star for Nigeria. FC Porto have tabled a four-year bid to sign him this summer. We are talking. He is also on the radar of some teams in Turkey and Russia.”
The gangling striker Peter Olayinka, who is holidaying in Turkey, stated that he is delighted to have got an offer from such club and that he can’t wait to be there.
“I was informed by my representative that FC Porto are interested in me and have tabled a bid already. Porto are a big team and I can’t wait to be there, it is a big chance for me to write my name in gold there,” said Olayinka, whose role model is ex-Arsenal star Henry Thierry.
Olayinka has featured for Oyo State YSFON team.
