Dead

A week after he slumped at an All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders meeting in Nembe, Bayelsa State, former state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who recently defected to the APC, Col. Sam Inokoba (rtd), is dead.
He reportedly died in Lagos on Tuesday night during a meeting.
Already, there is tension in the state APC as his death is being linked to in-fighting among governorship aspirants in the party.
He was said to have died after a heated argument in the build up to the primaries.
It is believed Inokoba, who hailed from Kolokuma-Opokuma Local Government of the South-South state, was also nursing an ambition to contest the December 5 election.
A source said the septuagenarian politician picked his governorship form two days ago to contest the primaries.
