Former Super Eagles striker, Michael Eneramo, has correct the impression that he had a heart disorder that was operated on by doctors at Turkish club, Besiktas FC.
The former Lobi Stars of Makurdi striker stated that: “What I had was a knee surgery that had lingered for so long and the medical team of the Turkish club believed that it is better the lingering knee problem is sorted once and for all before the commencement of the new season.
“I have already signed a contract with the club.”
“I did not undergo a heart surgery. What I did was a minor surgery on my (knee) meniscus. It was a successful one and I will recover in two, three weeks to join my team Besiktas. I don’t know where the story of heart operation came from. It was not true,” the Nigeria striker said.
Eneramo has signed a two-year deal with the Turkish giants Besiktas and will join the team’s training camp in Austria soon ahead of the resumption of the new season.
Last season, the striker scored 12 goals in the league for Sivasspor.
